I recently finished this wallhanging for a client. It's a Christmas suprise for a family member, so don't let the cat out of the bag. She wanted to honor her uncle and his accomplishments with his custom car that he is so proud of. I knew immediately when she described the car to me, that we had to feature the racing stripe in the quilting design. I spent some time designing and collaborating with the client to come up with this custom design to prominently feature her photograph. We lightly quilted it to focus on the photo and quilting. She loved it and I can't wait for the holidays for him to receive it.
